The best one i ever had had octopus on it & little else (other than tomato & mozzarella). At a market stall in Bologna.
All of this sounds so gross to me....I only like cheese and sauce. Or white pizza with no sauce pizza is whatever you want to call pizza.. :o
Octopus sounds excellent. Scallops fit well in as well. I enjoy mixing many cheeses into the base, or as toppings. Bocconcini cheese is a good addition.
Had to google bocconcini, thanks for the tip!! They are baby mozzarella. Sounds good! Don't even talk about scallops! They cost an arm & a leg here, the little feckers. Hadn't had them in years..
