Relieving Anger

Usually, anger for me is quick to pass and short lived. Recently a surge of infuriating events has me overwhelming with anger. Working out hasn't helped, reading only frustrates me more because I'm still dwelling on the matter and can't focus on the story. Music just amplifies my mood and I can't stand talking to people about it because of their lack of comprehension.

Either way, this thread is not for me. I'm going to reluctantly approach this situation directly.

So, any good methods of draining anger besides the ones I listed above.

Jerking off. Jerking off so hard the skin on your dick starts to split and blood begins to ooze out. Your dick begins to get beet-red as you continue to furiously masturbate. Your palms start to get blisters, and they begin to hurt. Your urethra begins to ooze out pre-cum like a fountain, and despite all this you continue to fap because of how angry you are. You're reaching the point of no return, and you blast your entire load all over your computer. Semen mixed with blood, sweat, and tears covers the entire floor. You heave a sigh of relief, and fall asleep.

What stops you from just acting on the anger instead of finding ways to cope with it?

This isn't the systematic I know. You are above this.

Games and tasks help me, as then the frustration becomes constructive, something I can use.

When the frustration is about others, it's like hitting a wall. When the frustration is of the self, it can be resolved with improvements.

I remember you briefly mentioned perfection runs before.

Games and tasks take away anger temporarily,  once the task is complete I'm still stuck with my situation

Usually this would work, but in this case video games are just a form of procrastination.

When you hold that anger inside you'll eventually become frustrated, and then depressive. You have to let the truth be free.

Ah, I thought you meant closer to excess stress buildup making you angrier than future situations would warrant. For that, outlets are great.

Your case sounds like you need to create a divide between being with the situation and being away from it, the ability to divorce from it so that you can cool off. I still use games/tasks to distract from it and relieve any tension that risks piling in hopes that dealing with the problem will become less of an issue from being that much less stressed out when the time comes.

What sort of situation are you meaning for the problem to not just be able to be resolved by your own efforts? I take it it's something outside of your reach of change?
