'I am actually a female'. Since when did this site become a fucking roleplaying forum for all your sick and twisted fantasies, you hairy, old, sweaty, ugly freak of a man?

Is not just me. I, too, have been wrong. Turncoat, aren't you male?  I thought you were female. Maybe I have that wrong too.

I do look at the way a post is written, inflection, etc.  User names and avatars I have learned mean shit. You just can't tell that way.

Given so many around here have thought I was male and I am actually a female, it made me curious. What is it that makes someone think i'm male?

While we're at it, do you make an assumption that someone on the forum is male or female before you actually know? What helps you make that determination? The way people type, supposed inflection, user name, avatar, etc..?

 The first time we talked, a year ago, I thought you were a guy. lol You know that though. I think it's because you're aggressive and don't take much shit. Plus you like to play with the guys and give as good as you get. Or it could just be that people don't pay attention.

Yeah I'm male. Common misconception online for some reason, one I find especially strange because of, again, the "there are no women on the internet" superstition.
