I draw the line at actually doing anything about it

That's interesting. Is that saying that morality = creation and immorality = destruction?
Related tangent, which is the most moral: intent, action, or result?
It's saying Morality = prosperity.
Moral and immoral. Negative and positive, up and down. Creation and destruction. In essence one does make it's opposite, but none will be able to say which comes first. Though I think if immorality came first, we wouldn't exist.
As for the related tangent question. Neither of those are more moral than the other, as each one may or may not be moral. However, suggesting all 3 of those are moral, then I would say Result>Action>Intent.
What you write is true except that creation must come before destruction. If something isn't created, it can't be destroyed. Instead of "created" I can also write "came into being" to cover all possible situations and world views.
I think intent is most important when judging actions. I am less responsible for negative results of my actions, if that wasn't my intent. Also my "moral code" is quite simple. It's like if a country is attacked by a foreign nation. The nation who attacks is doing something wrong. Those who are defending their own country, do nothing wrong. The same goes for conflicts between people. The one who instigates the conflict is the evil one. Whatever I do to defend myself after that is justified. This means I'm always one the side of good.
