You so funny Caleb.
Not straining myself lol just thinking about random things :D
Trying to determine difference between objectively "right" and simply "right for me" and wondering if it's possible to have a concept of self and values that is similar to morality but without the moral connotations.
Like morality without moralizing or something.
Alot of people have a moral code not based on right and wrong. Mine was based off proving I was better than people in my past, and keeping myself out of trouble with the law. It also helped to keep conflicts with people to a minimum, which helps me to function. Now, its become about encouraging good behabior in others, and a way to be good to people who aren't miserable. Because miserable people annoy me.
Honestly, right and wrong are truly relative, and this isn't just true for sociopaths.
I have developed a moral code about intellectualism and anti-intellectualism and logic
i hate people that are anti-intellectualists and illogical
if my opinion mattered half as much as i think it does
i would have every anti-intellectual put to death
that would be a lot of people because everyone is an idiot
except me
