I actually have had hallucinations where I would disappear 100% from all reality that sorrounded me and experience fully somebody doing something psycho to me, like cutting me up with knives, swords, saws and beating me with a bat. 

 The hell? Never heard that one before. How long did the hallucinations last and how did you appear to the people around you while you were being beated with a bat inside your brain? Were you in real pain or was it like a dream?

Stranded in a large body of water with land in no discernible direction.

Waking up one morning to find that i'm Obsidian.

 

Becoming paralyzed, ridden with disease, or anything else that would force another to have to take care of me.  Frankly I also fear ever having the responsibility of taking care of someone else in the same situation, someone old and senile.

Assuming he's not lying, that guy's life is golden. That's why he gets away with being such a dick. Good Looking White Guy Privilege. I'd love to wake up as Obsidian. The first thing I'd do is go find me some pretty Swedish ladies to play with. But I'd be nice to them for a change. :P
