I doubt your buddies support you the same way two people within a relationship support each other. Do they help keep a roof over your head, food on the table and stay out of debt?

I was mentioning friends as an answer to your point that humans are a social species.

For the roof over your head etc. part as I said in my previous answer it would be one of the cases where being in a relationship is useful. I even gave the example of someone playing the angle of a stay-at-home person.

But that said people find support where it's easier to get from. For some of us it'd be a partner for others our family or friends.

I am currently engaged to be married. I don't have many long term thoughts regarding our future, other than some negativity towards dealing with a wedding. So much people bullshit. I don't give a shit about doing a party and a ceremony. Presents would be a perk though. He has thus far been unclear on what he wants for a wedding, which has been a point of frustration.

Besides that, whatever happens, happens.

I dont want to marry but may end up doing so depending on how my life turns out. Yes on children.

It's gonna suck for you if you meet someone you really like one day and it turns out she's not interested in swinging.

Personally, I don't see why you find cheating an issue. If your partner doesn't find out and you don't get an STD, what's the problem.

Though, I believe that if you want to play the field, you may as well stay single.
