The time and organization necessary depends on the scale of the raid and how much of an impact you want it to have. A brute force raid of us just descending on a community to fuck with them a little would be simple.  You can always do both. Have one computer/IP go in for the quick piss them off and get banned method, and then the other have an account to go more long term "pushing the boundaries" type of trolling.

Long con could be fun with enough patience. Integrating into the community before doing damage could give us Intel to really get under their specific skins, as opposed to just generally so. When someone they've grown to trust changes suddenly, it'll be more memorable.
