Why Hello There~

Emily, you're the ONLY person who cares about resolving conflicts here. That means nobody cares about your stupid conflict resolutions except you and you alone.

Would you like a campfire section so we can all pretend we're sitting around it, holding hands, while singing Kumbaya?

And maybe a love section, so we can all bond and post hugs?

Stop spamming the forum with your fake conflict resolution drama.

If you would like to resolve your conflict with Thrill, accept the fact that she doesn't respect your opinions and leave her alone.

There.  Conflict solved.  You're welcome.

Hey TK you brought up a good question on the other reply about where the fear is coming from. I will copy that and start a new thread to get it off this one. Thank you.

as for conflict resolution (1) it is an internal process of deep work not faking things on the outside (2) it's not coming from me, I'm just aware the process is going on anyway.

Not coming from me. The conflicts exist BETWEEN you and me.

You react by posting your way, trying NOT to resolve the conflict, just complaining.

I respond by trying to resolve where the misperceptions are coming from.

Both sides have equal weight in the conflict, I don't control your side of the problem.

Ha ha Hyper: Just thought of another idea. Maybe one "section" needs to be for "conflict resolution" so that's where I'll hang out and TK will never have to read anything of mine!

Actually I think PM will resolve a lot of these issues that don't belong on or in threads.

Thanks for your great posts!

Hi Hypercube, Clearly TK also wants to express her issues, too, not just me.

Since SHE brought it up here, after my posts to Toaster.

To prevent further disruption which is NOT my intent, I am bumping these mgs to a new thread.

My apologies to Toaster.

Hypercube: NOTE: TK was the one saying she planned to "post whatever she wanted wherever she wanted" as she demonstrated here! So WHO are you blaming for drama?

Just me as an easy target? Not TK for her side of the issue?

I think you are more fair minded than that.

I understand that everyone likes a sense of control, but I don't think one change will mean a dictatorship of this place.  Sections are sections.  The only thing it will add is the need for it to be put on another board.  I mean  I'm new here, so I'm not really on the up and up on all of this, but giving it a try wouldn't kill anyone...  I mean the chat seems fine.  I mean as long as people don't get out of control with how they post then they should be fine... good way to stop trolls as well.

Of course, I do like everything organized so this is more based off of that.  I don't know.  It's just from what I'm seeing.  The place can still be free form with sections as long as the only modding going on is being able to move the threads if need be.

Won't work. If anyone moves my threads, I'll just create another one in the exact same section I created it before, and if they move that one as well, I will do it again.

Nobody is going to tell me where I can and can't post.

You spent like years on a moderated forum though. XD

That said, I kinda get your point. I think Sections is not going to work in this place... It has its own charm as it is, without Sections, though. If people just want info about disorders they should read about them in shrink books.

I think too many sections are distracting. I would group them in 3-5 at most, such as

Introductions/Instructions, Profiles PM and Member Galleries, Admin or Member issues

Personal counseling / advice or relationship issues (where people post long stories)

Clinical psychology, research and book reviews/discussions (very technical section)

Playground or free for all Forum area unmoderated (just like this is now)

I'd even point separate domain names to the last two, to double or triple the marketing.
