Hi everyone,
I was looking at this page which basically offers information on the history of American agriculture. I was wondering how many of you think that if we did the math, American growth would be very much related to food production?
I will do the math when I get home, but can't now because I'm going shopping with mom!
Bye!

Wouldn't the production figures be skewed because America can IMPORT food from elsewhere CHEAPER, and it's the low income and migrant workers who are exploited by large corporations controlling the flow of supply/demand?
I think your other post was closer, by looking at OVERALL business/political development (because that INCLUDES import/export of food resources and managing the working base that does all the production/manufacturing work)
I see it as America's physical expansion follows the "spiritual process" of spreading people's knowledge of the laws and experience, where resources/principles are circulated/enforced by education and free enterprise/outreach.
So I see THAT process first, then the physical reality follows from it.

I do have lemming, minced kitten, leek, mustard and tomato flavours left though.
