This might sound awkward but I would like to know if sociopaths fart in public. Often most people feel embarrassed when they fart and there is a kind of unwritten rule that bans farting in public. This got me thinking, if sociopaths do not feel as much peer pressure and have no qualms with breaking social norms, do they fart in public? Or is this considered a "weakness"?
When I was shopping in the mall the other day I met the strangest man, he was in the middle of the crowd and suddenly farted very loudly. When people turned to look at him he responded with the most twisted gaze and said "smell my evil". I wonder if he was a sociopath.

Seems legit. Did he look anyone in the eye with that predatory stare and do upward wafting motions?
Yes, he did. Does this confirm my suspicion?
The weird thing is, if it wasn't for him walking on four legs like some kind of an animal predator I could have mistaken him for a normal person. It's scary to think how many are already amongst us. I have no idea how to protect myself.
Well, lets cross reference the DSM:
by DSMA) There is a pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others occurring since age 15 years, as indicated by three or more of the following:
- failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest;
- deception, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure;
- impulsivity or failure to plan ahead;irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults;
- reckless disregard for safety of self or others;
- consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations;
- lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another;
B) The individual is at least age 18 years.
C) There is evidence of conduct disorder with onset before age 15 years.
D) The occurrence of antisocial behavior is not exclusively during the course of schizophrenia or a manic episode.
So he fails to conform to social norms (disturbing the peace), we can assume this act was impulsive (even though he might have gone to the mall with that plan in mind), has a reckless disregard for the safety of those around him's sense of smell, isn't responsible enough to keep it to himself, and lacks remorse for the action as shown by his response.
If he wasn't going through a manic episode or a schizophrenic attack, you may be on to something here. At least the Icarus Project might praise such "mad gifts".
if I was drinking I would just done a spit take. Lol

Would it be without a parallel if I claimed, that my flatulence makes ladies faint?
Or is it merely a case for proving, that my charm is irresistible?
Everybody farts in public, no matter their internal mental processes.
When you've got to let go, you've go to let go.
