Only problem is my mom doesn't trust anyone other than me and herself. She's quite cold with others.
I don't think I am grieving, I looked into that, doesn't ring a bell.
if you can work out the dynamics going on between you and your mom that will unlock one side of the puzzle. Any strengths there which you get from her can be used effectively and built upon while any weaknesses can be overcome where you can become a better person for facing those. As for your dads side of the fsmily dont be surprised if control issues with authority are rooted there. I was 23 when i found out past garbage my dad didnt resolve with his dad, which he repeated and doubled the blame and pain. And then it repeated again with us his kids before i figured it out. I was furipus but had to forgive it first before anything could be corrected and resolved. My brothers who cant forgive are a mess. I made it thru sane because i recognized it was a positive healing process made possible by forgiveness.
You are young and already starting to look seriously at whereyour payterns of behavior and response come from.
So you will be ahead of the game compred with friends 2 or 3 times your age still working out crap from their patents generation. Take it on as a positive challenge.

Okay, thanks, I'll try.
by TeletubbiesI don't think it really makes a difference if you're a sociopath or not. It seems to me like you have some sociopathic tendencies, that's for sure, but you already knew that. Nobody here can tell you if you're a sociopath or not without knowing you. You could always go talk to a professional if it bothers you.
Talk to a professional eh? Well, I suppose I could. But I don't want to be diagnosed, it'd be foolish on my part.
