 If my friend has a shitty old tv that has cable I might hang out with him and watch some shows with him or play video games with him from time to time, but i'm certainly not going to recommend we have people pay to watch movies in his house, What these guys have here is a hobby... something they're doing for fun, this is NOT the fucking business that luna is trying to make it out to be...

Furthermore I have a job, one that pays quite well, sitting behind a desk and playing with code all day wouldn't be as profitable as what I do nor would it be as fun. Which is why I'm not wasting my time doing it.

o Her company name was already taken by another, and for a while she kept it regardless of that (if not still the case, it's still in the forum link anyway).

o The forum was not originally Luna's idea, she simply made a new one to take place of the old when it was shut down.

o All of the forum's functions have been done before by other people, thousands of times. How is it creative to do exactly as so many before her?

o The blog that drags in the traffic here isn't even hers, and the community is why people even stay, so those charts? Pointless.

She's an admin, not some visionary. Still thankful for her work, but creative's a stretch.

I concede your points, but capitalising upon all those very same points is creativity in it's own right.

She recognised the potential, the same way that a sculptor might recognise the potential in a block of marble. The end result of a sculpture was always in the slab he started with, but the sculptor not only just finesses the stone, but far more importantly they manage locate it somewhere people will actually look at it and will market it in a way that makes people give a shit.

Is it really capitalizing if she's actually losing money? M.E. won't pay her a dime.

The closest to marketing she's getting out of this is a portfolio piece.

The successful maintenance of this site gives her legitimate credibility. At her age, a lack of perceived credibility could be the difference between winning and/or loosing a contract.

As for loosing money, she has the ability to fuck with the internal workings of the very site you have posted on 1265 times. If she is 'loosing money', what would you call what you are doing here?

Semantics aside, she is actually the boss here. She might have been just like you and been posting here anyway, yet she was smart enough to make it her own, claim the bragging rights and possibly secure legitimate business from it.
