What would you do if the government just stopped paying you, from a technicality or a policy change or something?

The first thing I would do is talk to Centrelink and see what other options are available to help support my daughter and I. Then, depending on the outcome, I would seek financial support from my mother who is married to a relatively wealthy man, until I can get back on my feet again, and I'd look for work in the meantime.

If that failed and worse came to worse, I'd go to the local church and explain my situation to them in the hope that they might find some temporary accommodation for my daughter and I. I know people here who attend church. Someone would be willing to help us.

There are also government services here that help people in financial crisis. I would exhaust every option available to me before I ever resort to living on the streets.

i have reason to think of your daughter as a mistake, this is all based on things you have said. simply repeating the insult back with no substance is more pathetic than your survival skills at work.

No, you have it the wrong way around. He was pretty excited when he found out I was pregnant, going on about how we were going to be a family. He wanted a boy though. I kept praying for a girl because I knew I'd never get him out of my life if I had a boy.

If you want it, then keep it, but when a tool is no longer useful, throw it away, otherwise you're just a nasty little hoarder... and that eventually becomes quite draining.
