I'm pretty good at controlling my dreams. Anyone want to be in my dream?
by Daddyits called "lucid dreaming", a practice done by many... look it up there are ways to help develope the ability...
This. It's quite common. When I dream I have a practice that I do to check if something is truly a dream or not. Once it didn't work during a nightmare about one of my biggest fears and I woke up screaming. Luckily it's worked every other time so I can just manipulate my dreams but it always has to be in the context of the original dream before I became aware. Not sure if that makes sense.
It's not really too common, it's just commonly known.
I'd participate, but my dreams play against me. The more I try to control the dream, the more complex it becomes, and the more it's elements develop against me.
I went through a long period of time studying and doing the tactics involved for lucid dreaming... and the dreams... just became worse.
dreams are just fantasies of the mind. Of course you can manipulate them! The most efficient way to realize you're dreaming is looking at the palm of your hands or flying.
But dreams are for children. If you really want to face somethng entirely new, leave your body at night and experience the spiritual world.
Now if you're a full-blown sociopath who has done a great deal of harm to others, you should be careful upon leaving your body... otherwise, enjoy the ride! :)
Before people start crapping on what I said, remember: sometimes I leave my physical body at night and go to a friend's house (everything in the spiritual layer is a sort of double from the psysical layer, only slightly different) and see what she has left on her bedroom, kitchen or living room.
The other day she forgot a pan with stewed meat uncovered on her kitchen's counter. I left my body at 2am and returned to it at about 3h30am. When I returned, I woke up and called her. Not only I knew the pan was uncovered but I also knew that stew was very different from what we usually cook (we always cook Boeuf Bourguignon but she had done a north affrican stew)
So yeah, if you like ilusions, go for the dreams. But if you're ready to face reallity, prepare to get the out-of-body chills ;)
