The best power would be to be able to go into the future or past,  and alter events.  That,  or becoming invisible.

Flying is a common wish isn't it? I have found myself frantically flapping my arms in past dreams.  The problem was staying up there!  Where would you go first? Would you show off, share it, or keep it a secret?

Some people swear that they can indeed fly,  through astral travel,  and go to far off places and spy on people.  Some research has shown that these are likley only lucid dreams,  but those who experience it swear it is real.  It would be nice.

Depends on the setting:

In a setting where others have powers, I'd like the ability to drain powers and use them myself. If a setting where powers have limitations, it'd probably be a case where I only retain it as long as I can remember how to properly immitate it, or I retain as much as I drained of it, whichever. In the perfect setting, I'd love to be a walking blue mage in a world of powers, even if the powers were less focused and specialized than someone who has their entire lives to master one thing.

If it were a setting where only I had power, Time manipulation. I could redo mistakes, slow things down, speed things up, be anywhere at any time, have multiples of myself from different periods of time set things for myself to go more smoothly, or even have multiples of myself assist myself (if there's none of that "can't exist next to yourself" BS), it's more of a collection of powers than just a power by itself. So what if that power would inevitably drive me insane.

Lol, looks like Chi beat me to it.

I'd have picked Imagination Conjuring if my case wouldn't be "Blessed with Suck".

Luna Prey: "i'd love to be able to read minds :D"

One of my young age fears was mind readers. I used to spend time trying to build the equivilent of psychic static.

If my experiences with learning people are a sign of anything, there are some minds not worth reading.

Thrill Kill: "Shapeshifter"

Oh the jokes that could be made...

Thrill Kill: "Personally, I think the ability to read minds would send someone crazy eventually"

I'd like to think I could handle it from sheer jading and pessimism, but I suppose that'd be a "be careful what you wish for" thing, or a matter of hoping mind reading has an on-off function.

Luna Prey: "this universe exists in your mind. you have so much power over your own happiness and fate"

Only means so much when someone's missing tools from the toolkit.

I have been able to fly in dreams for a while wether i am in control or not is a different story. One time everything was really off balance and oly when i slowed down my thoughts and centered my brain was i even able to stand up straight and walk properly in a dream yet alone lucid dream while flying. This was a few years ago and i still have extremely vivid dreams most night. I feel sorry for those who cant remember there dreams, or pay their dreams any importance..for if you do you will realise they influence our lives more then anything.
