by Luna Preyyour job would be to find potential clients. this happens in several ways.
1. advertisements (coutesy of us) - this includes local phonebook, craigslist, newspaper, website
2. networking - you will need to join networking meetings as a web professional.
3. people you know - look for perhaps a friend of a friend who manages or owns a small company.
Once you find a potential client, you need to try to figure out what their goal is. How can our skills help their company make money? Some methods of this is to check their current website. Is it good? Is SEO good? What impression does a potential customer get? Can it be improved on?
Once you find a way to help their company, we write a proposal outlining what we would like to do for them, and how much it will cost. It is your job to pass the proposal on to the potential client.
If the client agrees to the proposal, they must pay 60% up front, and from this 60%, you will recieve your 20% commision. This isn't 20% commision of the 60%, but 20% of the toal 100% which will be written in the proposal.
After you get paid, your job is to maintain relationships with the client, and idealy get referals to keep new clients coming in.
If we assume you are a success, than we can hopefully mvoe away from 100% commision, and give you an office and salary, but that is the future.okay..i like to think i am pretty smart, but this doesn't make sense to me..unfortunately, i don't think i can help unless my contribution can be clearly laid out...
do you want more people signed on to this site? do you want sources related to other sites? do you want technical expertise which can help this site?
what do you aim at?
what i'm describing has nothing to do with this site.
