I know that no one is concerned about me or the character I portray. That's why I feel on a different wavelength from most of you. I don't think anyone would waste their time trying to expose me. Honestly, there's no one to expose me to. And my ego isn't so large that I automatically assume someone would put a picture I post in a "wankbook". Or maybe it's just the self loathing that keeps me from acknowledging the possibility of these things.
What I said has nothing to do with others exposing you. You did that enough on your own. There isn't anything wrong with that. To think otherwise is the road to anxiety. My case is different. It involves people who want things their way, maybe so they can feel better about what they make themselves out to be. What has been done by other, exposing my family, and threatening to feed them some bullshit, accusing me for putting them in harms way. It's not us who are afraid, we don't like people trying to run us, using our own, that is nothing but a petty crime. Back to what I was saying, it may serve you for Ed being unable to phase you cause he doesn't know you, from my perspective being anonymous is fear based. I rest my case with Chi, and if anything Chi feeds the same ego I will make example of in the event it's required for me to take action.

Right. But one has to ask what purpose this sort of parasitical, vampire-like behavior really serves (other than to satisfy the urges of a twisted and broken ego). The more I read and re-read ME Thomas' book, the more I believe that sociopaths are the weak ones, and that Nietzsche would have found them so. And I agree with ME Thomas, that if she is "outed", she will lose her Professorship, as would be fitting and proper.
It makes them feel powerful, validated, and gets them what they want. That is a purpose being served. It's not like all behavior needs to befit a Greater Good. It sucks for the one being targetted (believe me), but with how you're framing your point, you almost imply there is a uniform purpose that is within everyone, that by gaslighting they end up ignoring.
