Come to think about it, you asking me to raise my awareness is kind of funny, considering who you are and how people see you here. 
@smkov: It's actually the second author's forum I've been on where majority of people cared far more about the forum than the reason it's there. It gets a sort of weird life of it's own, while the source material is almost more like bait.

Ha: would not be in the least surprised if this author did use it as bait, to lure in specimens for her to study. She should be paying you. ;-)

No. But you know what's strange? I haven't denied it either. Because the truth is- I kind of feel sorry for him. Like he doesn't realise that this behavior is the very thing that drives people away, which is what he's trying to prevent by holding those he admires and wants cloese to him captive.
I think you're giving him more credit than he deserves.

Don't forget that is one of his shticks. I find myself saying this a lot on this forum. "I knew someone like him" Really is eye opening to have one of the characters in my past get a label. I was not the target, but a friend of mine was. I was friends with both of them. Both were female. The target was always describing a side of the aggressor in a way I didn't really see much of... later I realized the games that were going on, but it was well hidden from me.
