i feel like we're going around in circles of you dancing around saying "happiness", "emotion", and "associate positively" .

Because if he admits to feeling even the slightest twinge of pleasure, he knows he'll be labeled as fluffy and squishy, and we'll all dance around and hug him to death bahahaha.  It is funny how being a sociopath makes you one of the "cool kids" here.  Being "normal" is like a ticket straight to the short bus.

I may play this game with you as well.  I want to see how your logic for this is going to play out.

okay, well lets start with your wanting to murder. why is it you only feel a sense of power and control when murdering someone?

don't you think it's possible that due to the fact that you're a stay at home mother who has been out of the work force long enough that it might be difficult to find a job that would pay you enough for it to be worth your while, that you almost feel a lack of control over your life, and pursue this "power and control" as a way to compensate? 

also, do you feel no affection toward your husband or your daugther? do you show favor toward them?

 I don't think experiencing pleasure makes people squishy.

I can feel physical pleasure quite easily, but not emotional pleasure. I can feel it, just not very often or for very long.

wow, so you lack emotional pleasure, you must find it very difficult to pursue goals, yes? do you take no emotional pleasure in the achievement of them?

I don't only feel powerful when I want to murder people. I feel a sense of power as a parent as well, but it's a different kind of power. Murder offers more of a God-like power, which is the kind I desire.

I don't feel that I lack control. I just wish I had more control than I currently have over people. I want to make them beg and plead and suffer. I want them to see me as their God.

I have a God complex.

As for affection... I'm not affectionate, nor do I desire affection. My daughter isn't affectionate either. Most likely because I'm not.

 I live in the here and now. I don't really pursue goals very often. When I want something, I want it now. I'm not very future-oriented.

No. I have some narcissistic traits though, but not enough of them to fit the criteria for NPD.
