 Perfect.

It would be interesting to see the people who come in contact with the priest.  Perhaps some of them only know him as "A" while others only know him as "B."

What if the priest questions himself because he utilizes his psychopathy to gain advancements for his church.  I don't know if having a wacky journalist thrown in there would be too cliche.

 Or a downtrodden private investigator.

 He'd be constantly fighting with himself every time a sexual thought or image went through his head. And just to throw a curveball in, the willowy young woman who plays the church organ on sundays, (yes I know) ....has a crush on him and leaves small cut out pictures of her nude body in odd places around the church, minus the head , because she doesnt want him to think ill of her until she is welcomed into his bed.

 And of course, every time he see's one of her strategically placed pictures, he flips into psycho mode,which manifests brutally one sunday when he finds she has left a picture ...in his bible .....which he opens ...as he is giving his sermon. (pause for effect).

And  the parish women run from the church with hands on ears after being labelled cunts and strumpets.

 I like this :D

 I almost want to give her some background too, although I'm not sure if that will take away from the protagonist.  Maybe something light like how she was abused as a child or ran away from home.  It would be interesting to see the different things that trigger his transformation.  Maybe even things that aren't obviously sexual in nature.  By seeing what triggers him, we know more about him.

I imagine some nice organ music overlaying the whole scene.  Something raw like a movie from the 60's.

Actually not too shabby. I'm smiling a bit over here. 

 No, we cant give her too much background, as she is going to be key to his ultimate meltdown/epiphany towards the end.

She needs to be portrayed as a somewhat naiive, but oddly sensual being.
