As for me hitting her it typically happened when she was being really bitchy for no reason. She was tremendously mood swingy, probably had depression or possibly bi-polar, but more likely depression. Sometimes she'd just start trying to pick fights over anything and if I wasn't in the best of moods I'd oblige her and we'd escalate. Then after things got pretty bad I would finish it by either using one of her psychological weaknessess to crush her or she would strike me in anger and I'd snap. I have a thing about being hit, it flips a switch in me and I hit back. Not sure why that is.
