i was in a psychological mindset in which i felt i had little control over life and felt drawn to a fantastical notion of war providing easy access to purpose

Those wars were bad, but had to happen for good reasons.
There's always an aggressor that should be put out for the sake of peace. Hitler wanted to dominate the world. Islamic state wants the same. At the same time no one wants to go to war. ( Well there are people who want it but in general ).
The process is ugly, the only good thing is the potential outcome which also includes an end to war. The soldier who've yet to go to battle will be lucky if it ended before it was their turn, while some of their own are dead, crippled, or psychologically destroyed. It'll be better for whichever side got their way.

In the end, the most privileged and guarded human being in the world will be a western woman in my opinion. Doesn't matter her race. In most cases she can do whatever she wants if it comes down to the government drafting young blood. They won't be looking for people who play on the small baseball diamond when it's time anyway.

My life would absolutely become a struggle against any fuck-ass retard that tries to drag me into a war. Most people joined ww2 because they were forced or were payed to. Anyone who did it out of idealism was a piece of shit toolbag and the reason we have people joking about Diddy raping a ton of people.
