You should play it, it uses a lot of clever plays on words as literal sight gags from being able to go into people's heads, plus the symbolism they used for disorders is really on point.

It's a forgettable archetype for Pathfinder's alchemist class. 

They basically use alchemical knowledge to see the future and shit, but in a world where magic literally exists it's not really that amazing. 

Kinda yeah, agreed here. I'm thinking that if they convince themselves they did it it's as good as the real thing. Don't like it when they become "woke" after using them drugs for a while. The level of arrogance and self-importance they reach is extremely ironic considering what sort of spiritual doctrines they preach.

I mean on one hand, asking less questions when you enter a psychedelic headspace can help push you further, but what some take out of it's pretty gross.

The new age drug cures are a bit of a fad, but they aren't entirely baseless.

anyway, I read this now that its a more interesting topic and doing drugs for any other reason then hedonism or medical care is bs. It gives you no more wokeness then sex or eating does. At best its to cure you of some illness, at average it is to escape your problems and never actually work on them and at worst you die. Rarely the reason to take any drugs is good reason(except for medical reasons).

I don't even drink coffee and while I enjoy alcohol in larger quantities, It requires the right company to be fun and my usual company is not like that, so I get drunk like once every year, maybe once every 2 years even.

I'd argue otherwise for psychadelics. It's not fucking mystical, but being in a headspace that alien from your own can be eye opening for your sober life (without burning the fuck out either).

I'm not even talking about drugs right now, astral projecting does not require drugs it can be done completely sober. In fact many children who have had traumatic childhoods especially sexual abuse can and do leave their bodies so that they are not having to emotionally experience the abuse
