Pumpkin Alfredo šŸŽƒ

A cozy fall dish that is super easy to makešŸ

5 cloves of garlic- minced

2 tbs butter

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 small handful grated cheddar cheese

8 oz fettuccine pasta

Prepare fettuccine according to instructions- while that is boiling melt butter over medium heat in a large sauce pan. Saute minced garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add pumpkin puree and pour in all the heavy cream. Mix and let heat until bubbling. Mix in the cheeses, adding small handfuls at a time and allow it all to melt. Mix well, and put on low heat. Drain cooked pasta and mix into the sauce. Makes 3 servings.

Enjoy! šŸ§”šŸŽƒ

Palepeach,

Whichever recipe you use to make your cp (cold process) soap, try adding 1 teaspoon (per pound of oil) of sodium lactate to the lye water just before you add it to your oils.  Alternately or in addition,  add 1% (of total oils) of melted beeswax to your oils.  It will help harden the bar faster.

Good luck! ;)

Pumpkin Lentil curry :)

1 small sweet onion- diced

2 large cloves garlic- diced

1 tbs cred chilie paste

2 tbs curry powder

2 cups vegetable broth

1 can coconut milk

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 cup dry lentils

1/4 cup hazelnuts

Roasted hazelnuts @350 degrees for 15 minutes. Sauteed onions in 2 tbs olive oil on medium- high heat for 2 minutes, then added garlic and stirred in chilli paste and curry powder. Let cook for 3 minutes to let flavors meld. Pour in vegetable broth, coconut milk, pumpkin puree and lentils. Bring to a boil then let cook covered for 18 minutes. While that cooks finely chop roasted hazel nuts.

Severed over rice with chopped hazelnuts on top and it was lovely :)
