I've had a hankering for kale lately and tonight's supper was heavily influenced by that.

Forvthe sauteed kale and mushrooms i first heated half a stick of butter, sauteed a minced clove of garlic and handful of thyme sprigs. Then i addedthe mushrooms turning them over untill they were golden brown. I added a half cup of savignon blanc, and a bundle of kaleleaves. cooking this allvdown until the kale was soft.

For the beer cheese half a cup of german pilsner, and 3 cups of aged cheddar added to a dijion and cayanne spiced roux.

I made anither honemade marinade with olive oil, white vinegar, ground savory, fresh ground pepper, and several whole thyme springs. Alice grilled thw chicken while i made the kale and mushrooms, and it all came out lovely ♡

For dessert: Alice is making homemade chocolate lava cake with raspberries and peaches. Will update♡~

Caramelized Carrots with Curry Tahini Puree ♡

Sadly no pictures of this dish because i forgot. This dish is vegan

The tahini puree i created was inspired as a cross between a tahini hummus i saw, and the Tahini lemon dressing from the curried cauliflower kale salad recipe.

1/4 cup dry lentils boiled with 1 cup of water until they were very very squishy

1/2 tsp each of turmeric, ground corriander seed, curry powder, and maple syrup

Juice of 1 lemon

2 cloves of garlic minced

Puree all ingredients together, adding up to 4 tablespoons of water as necessary.

Coat 250g of carrots lightly with olive oil and arrange on a foil lined baking sheet so they are not touchingly. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes or until caramelized/ starting to blacken at tips. Spread tahini puree on 2 plates and arrange carrots on top. Enjoy ^.^

Fish is so underrated for how healthy it is and how good it feels to eat it.
