and im pretty sure psilocybin is too, and opposite to what retarded Cain says IQ does not matter at all, it can be good for even very low functioning autists and people with extreme mental disorders

I never said IQ matters. Reinforcing my belief.

by your logic you can call anyone stupid since you have nothing backing it up.

It's not difficult to prove you are stupid. Just impossible to make you believe a stone cold fact too.

like

i said youre a worthless uneducated low class drug addict who no one loves or cares about

1. I'm not insulted.

2. Its not true

3. I won't give you real points and facts because you are a delusional stupid fool who wouldn't listen anyway.

and i cant take your opinion on anything seriously because including all of this you are also a fucking midget lol

Precisely why I can be so blunt with truth to you, i enjoy watching you drown I ignorance. I sincerely hope your mental state declines.

it's going to keep declining thats nothing new......if you are so offended by me being "stupid" it doesn't make much sense to wish my mental state to decline further tho

Makes perfect sense. As stated before; I dislike you and wish bad things for you.

Get a life outside of the internet lmfao

Ketamine I can see. But psilocybin? That seems like a really odd choice for you at this juncture.

Lots of weird info in this thread. Dave apparently isn't up to modern psychiatry, because I know someone who was treated with ketamine for treatment-resistant depression (and it worked). With these things, they dose you in the clinical setting. They don't send you home with a small zip baggie.

And as to what blanc posted, it's not typical at all that someone is dependent upon that. I didn't watch the video but I skimmed what was written about it. That was probably a candidate for EST if they are undergoing a treatment that rigorous. I guess I can just watch and see now.

it would be in a pill container I'm sure if it was prescribed, and they do both as far as I know and if not it will happen in the near future that it is prescribed as something to be taken outside of a psychiatric setting

same with psilocybin

here is an article about a ketamine nasal spray https://health.clevelandclinic.org/a-new-ketamine-nasal-spray-has-been-approved-for-depression-but-its-not-for-everyone/

I feel like ketamine is a last resort

this girl is on the ketamine permanently habitual daily use

and the treatment process entails sitting in a clinic tripping balls for like 9-14 hours...

it’s... a lot.

really I would only consider this after trying *a lot* of treatment processes

So I just finished the video. About this...

The girl was beaten somewhere, woke up twice with frontal and occipital lobe damage. She also had a brain bleed that was missed in the ER and left untreated. Her case is hardly applicable to the regular patient with a mood disorder.

A ketamine trip is not 9-14 hours. It's about an hour to two hours. And she was only given that dose because she was opiate resistant and because of the extent of brain damage. Secondly, she only did strong infusions for 7 sessions. The purpose of which was to re-wire her brain from the damage. After those sessions, they gave her a nasal spray which had a clinical dose (to be used as needed for pain), meaning she doesn't really feel dissociated from it. And she said her treatment is almost over at this point.

I would think first time, you would be given that in a clinical setting to see how you react. Otherwise your doctor is insane.

Are you sure they give you psilocybin pills? I thought that would only be done at treatment centers.

I have to say I have a lot more hope for hallucinogens/psychadelics helping my depression and anxiety than anti-depressants and anti-psychotics because those are bandaids at best

there is risk for bad trips on hallucinogens but there is also possibility of it helping to cure instead of just mask and mildly numb

Anti-depressants and anti-psychotics are proven tools with a track record of success across thousands of studies. They are not bandaids, they're meant to be used as part of a comprehensive treatment program. As in you don't just take your Prozac and get better, you are supposed to be working with a councilor or psychologist as well. Which you should be. The ketamine may be useful in this.

Doctors don't prescribe anti-psychotics for anxiety or depression. They give you Halidol or Thorazine or Seroquel if you are showing psychotic features on presentation. Which, if you are, taking psilocin is very risky, and I doubt they will allow that. If your thinking is somehow off, there is a very real risk to a hallucinogen making it worse, possibly even driving you into a full-blown psychosis.
