No, I don't think Lena was being malicious, I think she was being inconsiderate. She already admitted to lapses of judgment in terms of inviting people before. It's like wherever she goes she needs to invite Asylum people and while several of them are good SC material, the majority that it brings (inadvertently sometimes) are just white space filling. I think she had the right intentions, and for that I still adore her. Though those things are what the road to hell is said to be paved with.

Also, what is the difference between discord drama, PF drama, and SC drama? I mean, I thought SC drama was a lot, but I soon learned it is not that different compared to what is going on in other communities. A lot of degenerate social rejects everywhere.

She admits to a lot of those though, yet they keep happening. Instead of disregarding it and figuring it'll get better, we ought to figure what's motivating it in the first place. 

She both says SC is bad and uses it to justify her behaviors, so perhaps she's trying to invite an influx of other unknowns to try to drown out the SC voice, thereby making the culture change to something she's more comfortable being a part of and modeling off of? 

I mean she not only tried to invite new people she likes, she's actively trying to keep others off of this forum that she doesn't like. She may be trying to fight Turq for the "Queen of SC" title by inviting unknown peasants to pad the vote.

She's tried to emphasize at me that she's a Discordian now instead of an SC user, so... what better way to return to your addiction than padding it with less "poison"? 

She's expressed shame for being associated with us before a few rage quits, and even sounded like she'd have preferred to stay away from us around the time the SC discord server began to truly reform after Luna burned down SC. 

I think she had the right intentions, and for that I still adore her.

 The problem with Discord is that everything moves so fucking fast. The drama of other people becomes unknown because the chat scrolls up and no one reads it. I hate discord because of this, I feel like tuning in and watching a small part of an episode of a series that is running 24/7. It is boring, have no idea wtf is going on or wtf the new characters are.

A forum is smth different. Catching up with drama is easier, and we don't end up feeling like we have no idea wtf people are talking about. Backstories remain.

Yeah same, but the search isn't half bad for relevancy seeking.

 Yea. Now in the audit log it just lists how many times an invite link was clicked so there are going to be some of the same people using it. But it's guaranteed at least 15-20 people new people

Why is this an issue? The server is renamed, I can give admin to the old one if someone wants it, we are not pretending like it's SC-only, it's been a continuation at this point. What do you want? If I maintain an SC Discord, people will say I'm taking activity from the site. If I open up traffic, then I'm killing SC ideals. Even though pretty much everyone new is from Discord. I don't understand the gripes at this point.

Ideally? A slow trickle of new people onto the forum to attempt to preserve the culture. This forces them to care about our context instead of it being like it was when the PF people migrated over during the LittleArcher drama. 

It was only once the larger influx of people left that the few who stuck around tried to be "one of us", like Xena for instance. I however understand that maybe a giant wave of people with the majority of them getting bored might be how to get a few stragglers to stick around, but so many people on Discord don't even want to understand SC drama and typically spend their time not bothering with it.
