Sociopath Community

The idea was for it to be a transitory space for the community while the site was being made. Am I wrong?

Thinking of this a bit more, I did regain access to my old account after messaging Discord. If people want a Discord only for the SC community, I can give someone admin on the sociocommune Discord. It has pretty much everyone. I'd rather give admin if that's what people want, because I personally wouldn't be restrictive on membership.

 It just should've been named something else. Naming a place of a discussion after an existing one is misleading if we aren't going to keep the same dynamics. I enjoy the discord, but if meta had not made this place, our community would be dead and dispersed right now

It is something separate at this point, I'll rename it.

the status quo as it is is fine, i think we should wait for some time and see what happens, it's not like sc members cant talk and get in some conversations, why hurry

Technically it's already gone, but Discord has shown itself to be a poison for the SC vibe based on one thing alone:

When people trickle in a few at a time, they try to adapt to the culture. If they come in droves however...

Everyone's at least a bit nuts, they just need a little push. This place has a surprising knack for that. 

We just need to convert them through sheer exposure, groom them towards their natural and inevitable madness.

None of this was a surprise. The sudden influx of new people (36 Lena, wtf ?) was predicted to cause a massive population shift and fuck things up. It literally turned into Asylum 2.0 and I think we might wanna consider changing the Discord name seeing as we don't really need a Discord anymore, and we can just consider it a separate entity now.

Let's take this as lesson learned I guess

You think maybe a conversion like that was the goal? 

It literally turned into Asylum 2.0 and I think we might wanna consider changing the Discord name seeing as we don't really need a Discord anymore, and we can just consider it a separate entity now.

It's already now listed as "Cancer Community".
