No, they're a janitor. Janitors aren't servants or rulers, they do a job that's in their agreed upon terms.
We are here to do a service for the community that, ideally, should put us beneath them much like said janitorial services, not above them, and the group would have to come to a consensus and it'd have to be agreed on as a new policy instead of just doing what our favorites ask of us. Do you not remember me making a flurry of these topics?
We can't just wing this shit, it has to be protocol, and I brought this to the forum so that it could be discussed with it instead of just amongst ourselves. It's not fair to just have mods sitting in a private box saying how the website will go for everyone. We've had prior traditions we'd once cared about upholding, and I've always been one to push the talks in the public space.
If we want to throw away SC rites and practices in exchange for a little safety, then we need to accept that it's one more nail in the coffin.
