Appealing to a majority isn't always based on 2nd hand information though. I believe we've seen this play out on Trump's election wins, especially the 2nd one.
The DNC, Hollywood, various artists, mainstream news, Lawfare, smear campaigns, one sided political output being acceptable on social media platforms, fear to be seen as a Trump supporter, violence, late show attacks, Conservative celebrities being destroyed, Assassination attempt ( Now assassination attempts,) Racist labling, Democrats prompting their supports to make Trump supports unwelcome. Antifa swarming Trump supporters. Trump supporters cut off air, censoring rally sizes. Russian hoaxes, corrupt politicians, pressured social media platforms, Every single day for years.
People voted for policy and not off of the circus we've witnessed though some did. If Trump succeeds in his endgame, and it looks like he won't, the American people will no longer pay taxes. Instead Trump will shrink the government and the government will acquire its funding through tarifs. I'd LOVE it if we never had to pay taxes, it's how it's done in Dubai and how things used to be even in the States.
While it goes beyond your belief, Trump is a man after God's heart.

Biden's victory shows signs of election meddling, and I did say that on the first night, then election night turned into weeks.
I don't know a single soul who thought Biden was any good. Biden supporters are a bandwagon effect as they really can't tell you which one of his policies are any good.
Just like what Obama did in Iraq Biden left all the military equipment in Afghanistan, bought and paid for by the American people, all of that then had to be replaced. This is what you call the Military Industrial Complex. 80,000 humvees, night vision, uniforms, blackhawks, guns ammo. Trillions spent on a war and the Taliban is left with upgrades and now look at them, parading more powerful than ever, ready to do it again.
The Presidency involved trillions of dollars at stake. Not everyone is aware of that, but enough people are. The typical Trump supporter doesn't blindly go forward, they know corruption when they see it, and what the did to Trump really doesn't look good, plus Trump's policies are more like it.
In Canada right now Trump is very unpopular and why ? It's a bandwagon effect. Canadian government really fucked up the economy, the Liberal party. Housing crisis, foodbank's loaded, chains getting kickbacks for hiring oversea students from India. Homelessness. Trudeau was so bad, his own party felt it was best for him to resign cause he was 2 faced with Trump and Trump wasn't having it. Trudeau goes to see Trump and Mar a largo and he wasn't welcome to stay. They're interviewing him in front of a hotel elevador looking like he say a ghost saying it went well.
Canada was very happy when Trudeau was gone, in his place came Mark Carney, Trudeau's finance advisor. Tiny little rally's compared to his competition and he magically wins. Like damn, we seriously voted for the same party that fucked up the country. Trump has the Canadian government on their toes now, and the Canadian government is placing blame on Trump.
So far Carney has sent over a Trillion CAD overseas and really isn't doing a good job, if anything he's escalated tensions with the United States, and the rest of the world is kinda shaking their heads at Canada the same way they did with Trudeau.
Canada voted for Mark Carney ? Not a single soul was anticipating that guy. Canadian political youtubers were being attacked by the CBC who are subsidized 400 million a year by the liberal party. Soft on Liberals hard on conservatives. Corruption in our faces. The People wanted to vote conservative. Now we have 3 provinces that want to separate from Canada, no chance in hell that man won fairly. He does that supporters who know little about Carney and think he's good cause he claimed he'd oppose Trump. Big mistake, but that is what I'd call a Bandwagon effect.
In 2026 politics are quite popular and the masses, especially in the States, really read between the lines.
