The talks Inq and I used to have about Legga were pure comedy.
Inq spoke like he thought the guy was retarded or something, with Crow and myself defending otherwise. He was just so baffled that someone trolling this much could be smart, rather than yourself conflating intelligence and wisdom as if one and the same.The thing with you, every single thing you say is for argument sake.

Generally speaking, appealing to the majority as a metric for being right or wrong is inherently a fallacy (bandwagon). Times in the past when we argued I often found myself with a majority in agreeance, and rather than say that made me correct it made you presume they lack intelligence.
Not in this case. It wasn't long ago where you and Dragoon condidered Legga smart, and I was the only one calling out how foolish he is.
I can still think someone is smart and be irked when they act foolishly, some of his weird games he plays at people on the forum can be funny, but not all of them.

He's a bad actor, but when it comes to actual academic subjects of interest he's well read. I wouldn't expect a random college professor to also have a focus in theater, so even within his consistently retold idea of his occupation it fits that he'd be terrible at playing pretend.
The lack of empathy he seemingly demonstrates tends to have him write himself out as lacking the same nuance he doesn't himself otherwise seem to see out of others, like a mirror turned towards himself. All the parts he play come across as robotic with a lack of consequence, which in turn reads as very fake.
The only time the guy's real is when he feels academically insulted, then the mask slips and he shows how much personality lives in his negativity. It's a shame, he feels safe behind being fake but ultimately that leaves his ability to find pride in his own reality stunted. He can't be himself, instead he has to play these parts, and that's kind of depressing.
It's why he's argued so hard about never revealing your actual identity over how he has two things to hide; how he sees himself and how much it'd shatter the illusion he's actively trying to create. He's arguing that we behave in ways that are arguably a projection of his own actions, then tries to make a smokescreen by accusing other people of acting like he does to either normalize it or misdirect.Appealing to a majority is by no means a fallacy.
That's literally Bandwagon, especially when the majority tend to be going with secondhand information rather than anything studied.
The majority have no idea what's going on, appealing to them is appealing to ignorance.

Either way, majorities are for the most part subdivided and pit against eachother. It's a binary situation, and continuing to engage with her past a point takes feeding her delusions. She will straight up sign off if you try to correct her over what's going on, so from the POV of someone who doesn't give a shit about her I can see why they might help prop up the lies she tells herself or becomes convinced of otherwise, and then see escalation of her behaviors as if a prize in itself.It seems as though Legga does it without realizing. He's more focused on relationship building with people who stroke his ego, so he has a sort of tunnel vision as he wanders down the road of stupid, giving merit to Mara's retarded psychosis.
Disagree, the guy knows what he's doing and gets a big laugh out of himself. Sometimes it's funny, the light hearted stuff can be fun, but then he gets nasty and goes too far like he doesn't see where to draw the line.
Even his politeness reeks of being disingenuous, and many details he's given people on here are obviously him playing modern politics towards a varied audience to gather responses from known names, potentially ones he might even try to act like on other websites via copy/paste.

You know, I do occasionally wonder if I'm a shitty person and deserving. But I think I am overall a pretty good person. If I could choose to make you happy, I would, same with anyone here. Im also quick to forgive.
