In theory this isn't impacting the brain directly like it's supposed to, but stressing the muscles around the head, though the subject will associate the topic with pain. The brain will associate the topic with pain and this will become a part of a defense mechanism from the brain to the nervous system in the same way an avoidant was trained to associate close relationships to danger from being neglected as a child, then they grow up being all fucked up and fear the one they love most.

This type of therapy is probably good for criminals as it is a form of punishment and can potentially deter them from doing terrible things. If not at least something was done.
As therapy for a normal person, it's messed up.

In a post-Epstein world that still has billionaires (and pretty much everyone involved having gotten away with it, and yes that includes the people you support), I don't think even that makes any sense. Maybe make being a billionaire or a landlord a crime and I'll agree with you.

Actually I don't think this is verifiable. Your brain just enjoys the stimuli and associates it with pleasure, creating a "normal" pathway, not necessarily to reward hatred and actual aggression which it has less reason to associate with certain amounts of stimulation in tolerable or preferred conditions.

Being electrocuted is not fun. It overloads the nervous system which uses electrical signals, we lose control the muscles can rip and the muscles get driven so hard it can break our bones.
If one's ability to feel pain is gone, they're not feeling pleasure either. Being electrocuted also has thermal effects that get worse the longer it's happening and it can cook you while leaving burns at the point of entry. If you electrocuted a person with high voltage they will burn to a crisp long after their dead.
