This feels like a safe place then with all you lot here. I was diagnosed with Tourette's and then later in life I decided I didn't want to have tourette's anymore so I didn't have it then. Same with ADHD and dyslexia. I wished it all away, and then it was gone.

How do you deal with schizophrenia? What are the symptoms?

Jada is right: this is safe enough of a place to talk about it, Delora.  I am curious what led to the diagnosis, why now, etc.  How distracting is it?

With how modern culture is right now, I'd be pretty worried about being labeled with any of that stuff, but then again it might not matter as fascism struggles to keep up with the modern age and also everything is pretty fucked anyways and I'm already a minority due to autism. I don't think I have schizophrenia, just eccentric traits that make it easy to accuse of being schizophrenia. The fact people even feel the need to make schizophrenia an accusation makes it suspicious in intentions and also hurts both groups, eccentrics and schizophrenics who both become more misunderstood and persecuted.

Schizophrenia is often characteried by hearing voices and feeling like everyone is against you. Patients often report physical, auditory, and visual disturbances, often a feeling of being watched or controlled, sometimes voices arguing inside of the mind commanding things. Often the psychotic is at war with himself and may lash out at anything and everything, dissastisfied and unrecognized because he cannot process some internal struggle or another. Not all Schizophrenics are psychotics. Some present themselves as normal people and have no psychotic symptoms.

Hm interesting, just one definition of the illness, but there are many.

Bacopa monnieri is often reported to work well for Schizophrenia among other things like ADHD, Autism, whatever, things that benefit from is antioxidant, neuroprotective properties. It helps with cognition and memory, neuroplasticity, GABA, dopamine regulation.

Mars is also currently transiting Scorpio (it's ruling planet) which can be intense for sensitive people alongside personal circumstances but it transits into something more tolerable soon. Like others have said it's best to just relax and avoid stimuli if you can recognize patterns that make the voices worse.

If you had schizophrenia you would be well aware. When someone has it it's obvious af

Does anyone else hear salamanders that are talking to one another in a humanesque language

It seems a lot of people here have schizophrenic traits.

Just wondering if anyone else hears that, I know it's only a phantom of the mind but still...

Mars in Scorpio leads to a lot of internal transfomation and can increase activity in sensitive people.

Some people are completely unaware of their Schizophrenia and for some it goes away on its own.

It doesn't mean you have to believe in astrology, it's just that the stars and life are always in motion, personal circumstances, death, emotions, and water
