i also feel guilt...
because i go to the local stores and i see the poor workers who arent even allowed to look at their cell phones while they get paid like 1/3rd what i do... and i dont even have to go slave for some loser manager at some dumb shop..... imagine having to live that life.... poor people... im lucky i was born with a decent IQ

Not everyone can be on top. Pride comes when you get to the top by your own merit, not some bullshit DEI charity policy.

so today is a huge day it turns out!!!! I got offered a job at the company im a SWE at!!! here is the transcript from what the CEO said:

Um so we've um we've had a lot of good growth. um we're you know adding 100ish 50 100 patients a month and uh at the same time we have plenty of engineering needs and I've heard great things about the work that you're doing from uh from Mr. Moughs here. Um so anyway, we've had some people who have been contractors like you and now is the time to to bring in all the people who are we want around for the the company to grow and grow and grow to be full-time employees. So, we'd like to offer you uh a full-time position um at a salary of 98,000 a year.
they also offered me stock options, 401k, health, etc

well ive been at this job for 4 months so far and you are right that all signals indicate i will be with this company a long time
but i must maintain the hard truth that im probably kinda retarted and they probably dont understand just how dumb i am just yet and once they fully grasp it they might 2nd guess choosing to hire me
so i dont feel like im totally out of the woods yet... i do not yet feel my boss is fully aware of how dumb i am
so im saving up as much money as i can just in case they realize they hired an idiot and fire me
