i wouldn't worry about the why too too much, a lot of it is just how we're wired. and once you look at it from that perspective, it gives you leeway into understanding self mastery
it's your choice you know, if you want to embrace how you're wired, etc or if you want to change it. maybe a balance of a little of both, for personal growth to be optimal. who knows.
talking about how you are and why you are the way you are in comparison to other people especially seems more like it's edging into a therapy topic with a more emotional tilt though, so maybe that's more the type of conversation and personal discovery you're looking for. therapy is a great place to talk about these kind of things if it's really, if you feel guided to do so.
