People made all kinds of trash with Ai. That's true.

It can make no copyright music very well.

It'll still be used in movies, and one day it'll generate a short film on it's own.

Machine learning has learned to code, and it'll only get better at it. This is very simple stuff at this point.

In my lifetime, and even yours, talking computers was science fiction. A fantasy we've seen in old episodes of Star Trek or even older science fiction shows and books.

Now in Star Trek we're saying "They're still using chatbots"

At some point the Ai will not only be good at coding, but it'll offer suggestions we haven't thought of, and pull it off if we say yes.

For a price people will have access to ai that will do the work of many and it'll engineer software to the programmers specifications.

AI has already replaced 3 programmers with one.

Just finishing up a large AI project. Basically AI replaced 2 programmers. There were mistakes, debugging, additions and modifications. Someone has to pull it together and manage the different AI's.

The trick to using AI is to get the query specific to solve your problem.

So basically 2/3 of the programming jobs will be gone.

If you're not using AI, you will be left behind.

Or they regressed to those.

When you consider that characters like Data and 'The Doctor' exist, and multiple episodes in continuity shows the AI of machines to be a threat, it must have been a choice by The Federation.

This is also the same future where they went so far into genetic reprogramming that they'd made super-geniuses that'd inevitably kill people, so far as to make such modifications in the future illegal.

Sometimes it may just need more information because the data it's trained on isn't enough or is too much with not enough specification on the human's part and it's hallucinating. Sometimes you just have to send it the entire documentation. It helps to feed responses from one AI agent into another. The technology will eventually improve.

I think i will post here everytime the AI fails me. Seems like a great idea.

I use GPT

So today, I asked it to write me some code where it extracts data from an HTML webpage into a c# class.
First attempt, it wanted me to download a fucking nuget package for HTML parsing (which I use on this forum btw), for something so simple. Laughable.
I told it to use regex.

So it generated some code, but after running it, it did not get all the results. And some results were wrong, because the data in some parts was missing in the HTML page and it didn't consider it. I told it that it failed and that sometimes data is missing, so it did corrections.

These corrections had the exact same result. Exactly the same erroneous result.

I could of combed through its code and find the error, but instead I wrote the thing myself and it took me less time then asking the AI.

In 2 minutes we can have a fully textured and rigged 3D model, with remarkable detail. I'll never model something in 3D again. The whole thing is becoming pointless. The models look as good as people/characters do in generative Ai.

In terms of gaming entire worlds are being generated from a single image for display in Unreal Engine. It's quite good at what it's doing.

This machine learning. It doesn't seem like it'll have any limits when it comes to whatever we make it do.

Is it Blender?  Would it be good in Godot?  I couldn't imagine it being great with details right now, but you could probably get some prototyping done which you can then tweak and add detail to, right?  I haven't really looked into that yet.  The VTuber community is pretty anti-AI gen art, but if it's a tool that can accelerate producing their own models, why not?

Blender does have some kinda plugin like that, but not particularly.

They're usually accessed through a browser and it'll output the model in .obj format.

There's also a standalone we can install directly to our PC. I'm having a ball with generative Ai, and don't feel like doing much with 3D atm.

If you're interested in Ai check out the huggingface community. Under spaces we get to try out various Ai for various things

Yep, I've browsed Huggingface a little bit, worked with Ollama and the LM Studio, as well as through Python programming.  I haven't done much with image or video, other than what you can grab free on different models, and wasn't sure how it has been integrated with specific engines like Godot or Blender.  But that's cool if it can export into file formats used in those programs.

That's sort of the direction where most of the models are headed, isn't it?  Some are having one model do all the different media input/output, some are (sort of like GPT5 was having trouble with) models which invoke other models like agentic ones do for specific tasks, etc.  Models will be able to somehow deliver whatever it is we ask for, in that regard.

It's such that those more pessimistic about AGI -- artificial general intelligence -- have brought that timeline a lot closer.  As well as the jump to ASI -- artificial super-intelligence -- doesn't seem like such a pipedream any more.  The doomsayers swaying more and more people.

Grok has been giving us free video generation for the past while. I've managed to make 2 short stories with it. Just simple stuff.

Also has built in audio now so we can prompt in speech while telling it what to do. The speech alone is a massive time saver.

For LLMs I like GPT better than Grok, Grok is too efficient and will hand you links instead of giving us a good conversation with a lesson, though Grok is better at image generation and worth it for the free Imagine.

How people are using Ai is going to kill our addiction to video, cause so much of what we're seeing is trash. The real videos we once enjoyed will get buried and unrecognizable to futute generations.

Genuine footage such as a cat saving a human baby will no longer impress cause it's gotten stupid with how many fake animal rescue videos are coming out.
