It'll probably pick up again, slow down later on and then we'll have yet another thread like this one only it'll be one of leggas different puppets that will say SC is dying and he's really leaving for good this time, really!(You'll miss him,truly you will!)

Hey Lena, how are you? You haven't been around for some time. Did you move on with your life?

I don't think the insult thing was really ever a thing. It was more about gossip and secrets. I did figure that your thing for the forum was a bit detached. I mostly interpreted that as you being angry, but admittedly I was also confused by how you behaved. Your post explains some of it, you basically liked insulting strangers online, as a hobby. I had a short-term collaborator like that before I cut ties with him. He was highly unpredictable and volatile, and the uncertainty around when he was going to blow up with no apparent reason made it very stressful to be around him.

At any rate, I hope you're doing better now.

Now that I think about it, I don't understand the behavior of many past folks here, not just Lena.

So..... Back to the topic. Given that the vote is 70% in favor, what's the next step? Is there any chance of this actually happening, or are we just going to talk to a dead forum with an admin who ghosts the community, trying to bring back an old member who won't show up? Was even this last-ditch effort in vain?

It does help express her POV, if that's all she chooses to hold onto from the experience. 

It's sort of like how you tend to focus on superficial things, on a forum full of depth that goes far beyond that. Not everyone will see everything that goes on here, nor choose to hold onto it even if they once did, as people tend to notice what is familiar to them before seeing anything else.

  I have a semi serious question for you TC: Do you think the reason that you see all this depth and all these things going on is because you're schizophrenic?

I've had two friends who were diagnosed schizophrenics.

One of them always borrowed money from people and then refused to give it back, until he either got beaten up or someone tattle taled to his mom. He saw nothing wrong with it.

The other one believed that he was being affected by astral beings, and he threatened to kill himself unless I took LSD and astral projected for him. He finally cut off all contact because I refused to play Quake 3 with him at 1 AM in the morning when I had high school work due the next day.

You share eerie similarities with both of them in ways that you're dissimilar to others, in particular in terms of how both of them insisted that reality is fundamentally different from how I perceived it, the strength of their conviction, and how little they were willing to elaborate and disclose about their thoughts without getting defensive.

And back on topic: it's true that Matrix is a puppet account, but I don't think there's any "worry" that people are double voting. Or is that the worry?

Is your suggestion then to wait for more votes? My thinking is that Good will ghost the forum anyway and that this whole talk of "community deciding" was basically lipservice, TC will refuse to acknowledge the vote, and finally Luna will be nowhere to be found. But that's why I say this is a hail Mary.

If nothing else, it discloses the final nail on the coffin, which is that the user base and the community never had a say in the first place.

Luna always put in great effort to bring us new members. Trypt, Sugar and others have been on Discord for years, it's not a new thing. But because Luna promoted her SC so much, we always had at least some people in the chat

I agree with OP

TC is super biased too, we all know this. Ideally, we'd have somebody more neutral like Inquirer as mod or just no mods

The move would be to regroup on Discord, apologize to Luna and switch to her SC then ditch Good's

A lot of damage's been done because of events in the recent years but it can be fixed

To be absolutely transparent, I think she would ban TC from her site if we get that far, but who cares. TC is responsible for killing old SC

I think in part, it being toxic and insane was what it thrived off of, and with it being too well moderated or moderators taken just a little bit too much power… it decreased the anarchist value of the site which is what made it what it was. A rouge ghost ship out in the sea of sites so well maintained and moderated lol, meanwhile SC was out here just being left to rot. It was part of its appeal. The common commrodary among users against its powerful creator (userp the dictator) is kind of what of what created a more interesting and powerful social dynamic that one is likely to return to. 

Basically I think this place has been moderated to death a bit, though that is only one aspect of… what’s caused it’s inevitable dissolve
