Normally yes, but check the posts themselves. The comic nerds came out from the shadows to leave their piece and it even has comic book panels.
Spiderman wins, debate's over. They handled this with math.
I know what spider-man's powers are supposed to be. idc about feats.
So you understand that he has super strength beyond that of Homelander and a reflex dodge comparable to mild telepathy to the point of dodging lasers and stopping guns before they can even fire?
Also tons of combat experience, like, literally tons, against foes even stronger than Homelander?
Spider-Man can lift ten tons. I hate feats because they are inconsistent.
Spidermans are actually surprisingly consistent. He's a willpower hero with super strength, so it's always measured by how serious he's being.
There's tons of comics where he's all "NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY" before going full power.
The thing about Spider-Man is that his strength is not compatible with his durability.
He needs to dodge bullets, because they can actually pierce him like a normal person. To this day people tend to forget that due to the plot-armor bubble he has been in since forever.
So I do believe that if Homelander wanted, his Laser Beam would be more than enough to slice him in half. I don't think Spider-Man ever faced someone like Homelander on a 1x1 .

Depends on the writer, if you want to push him to this extents, sure, but that's not the SpiderMan we would usually get.
Regular SpiderMan vs Regular Homelander, the later one takes the win.

Disagree, only the movie ones are a joke.
