Why is TC not more successful?

This is not a TC bash thread. Everyone will know that TC is extremely intelligent, quick etc. That is just obvious if you read his or her posts. I know she lives of disability money, so there is mental illness. He claims schizoaffective disorder. While he can be difficult to deal with and exhausting, I cannot see very big delusions (no trans bashing here please). I would think she'd be perfectly able to run a small scale business, do Online work and stuff like this. 20 hours a week. Maybe even some kind of coaching job where he interacts online with people. She has skills and is very eloquent with words.

You claim to be a therapist or whatever, how would you describe Schizoaffect?

Schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis etc is not always easy to diagnose. There are many common points. It is not clear. I have never diagnosed anyone with any of these (except bp), especially not schizoaffective disorder. If the person can be treated in an outpatient setting in my opinion if they are under 45 it is not ethical to diagnose them with it even though they have it. It is a bad stigma because they are the heaviest diagnoses.

In an inpatient setting I have seen people that had schizoaffective disorders and each of them was different. Paranoia was a common thing, some were catatonic, some were very unstable in their mood like bp disorder. Why is this important to the thread? I do not doubt that you have this diagnosis by the way.

To be sure you do or don't know what you're talking about.

You said no trans bashing but you called her he like a bunch of times. Was this an accident or on purpose? And why?

What would be the differences between being a successful mod here like you are vs having an online job that makes this accessable to you but not an online job? Or online college?

If they have it they have it. Why not diagnose someone when they have it?  Also despite the outpatient setting, turncoat is assisted by her parents. We don't know the irl degree that she needs help with various things.

First off, how would you feel if someone began rubbing in your face that your life is not good enough for their sensibilities before seeing them attempt to mansplain how to fix it with answers they think you never had occur to you?

It always comes off as them looking for an opporitunity to grandstand on a preachy soapbox as an excuse to affirm to themselves that they are successful, or it comes out as a projection in relation to their own lives more than anything usually having to do with me.

Secondly, I have explained already my plans for college, recently, as an answer to another person's question. You can look them up if you really care, but you like others won't because you don't actually care beyond using it as a delivery device for what's really on your mind.

Thirdly, this is all shit before I've even gone on about the disorder. A bunch of people have presumptions about how functional I am when they have never seen me for more than a day at most. Has no one asked why Crow didn't think it was bad for me to accept SSI rather than working, when she herself had a fairly strong work ethic, or for that matter why my folks have been willing to be helpful over it rather than kicking me out when they themselves are hard workers?

There's a whole list of things that make holding down a job rough, and I never said I planned to continue not working for the rest of my life. Now if you really care, look it up. If you don't, then keep up with the others using it as a plot device to brag about their own lives. With how you keep tying in things that aren't even the case (like thinking I didn't finish my Bachelors because of abuse), it makes me think you aren't really trying to pay attention or look into things too deeply, and that you are not at all discerning with your sources (as is apparent by your political leanings), alongside a ton of projection.

Well, I never thought of it that way. I guess I thought my own post I made about you going to college was a stupid attempt to help you. I'm sorry. I'm trying to imagine how I would feel in your shoes now and I guess I wouldn't like it.

It always comes off as them looking for an opporitunity to grandstand on a preachy soapbox as an excuse to affirm to themselves that they are successful, or it comes out as a projection in relation to their own lives more than anything usually having to do with me.

Well when I did it it was different than that from where I was coming from. You are more successful than me actually. You are a mod here something I always wanted. You have a loving family. You finished high school. You went to college. I never admitted it but I actually look up to you in a lot of ways. I guess I just thought you needed encouragement to get to that last step. I thought you just lacked confidence and needed more people to believe in you and that if you had that, you could have more. I thought well you already don't really like me, but maybe if I was nice enough you could look past that and try online college even if you hated me, and then finish your degree. (No that doesn't mean I just wanted you to like me, only that I wanted you in school) I thought maybe you didn't want to because of college dept so maybe you could be encouraged and then given links to resources that could cover that for you. But you are right. I don't know all of your situation. And I was never looking down on you. I think you are pretty damn cool in a lot of ways. You convinced br to start working more towards his future and I thought you deserved someone to do it for you. I guess I was just to nosey and tried to help but it came across as annoying. I'm sorry.

YOU ALREADY HAVE PLANS FOR YOUR COLLEGE I DIDN'T FUCKING KNOW THATS AMAZING CONGRATULATIONS I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY FOR YOU YOU ARE FUCKING AMAZING AND I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT

Thirdly, this is all shit before I've even gone on about the disorder. A bunch of people have presumptions about how functional I am when they have never seen me for more than a day at most.

I can relate to that. My autism people usually think I'm faking or I'm more capable with some things than I actually am or.dont have it at all. They don't realize I almost get ran over by a car overwhelmed by traffic sounds but br has.to.suddenly pull me back, or that I have a hard time recognizing the faces of someone I have already met and don't know who they are until they tell me, or that I can't drive yet despite being 24 and crashed the car recently when I tried.  So I get it. At least to some degree. But I know I'm still not you.

Has no one asked why Crow didn't think it was bad for me to accept SSI rather than working, when she herself had a fairly strong work ethic, or for that matter why my folks have been willing to be helpful over it rather than kicking me out when they themselves are hard workers?

I am on SSI too. I thought about that. Honestly accept your SSI. I never looked down on that with you. I do volunteer work though. And I see you have a lot of volunteer work you do for SC.

There's a whole list of things that make holding down a job rough, and I never said I planned to continue not working for the rest of my life. Now if you really care, look it up.

Can you link to that list? You don't have to it does sound really personal. I could share why I can't hold a regular one down rn and just do volunteer work so you aren't being singled out if you want. Sorry for making you feel singled out before with my similar post to this one if I did that.

If you don't, then keep up with the others using it as a plot device to brag about their own lives. With how you keep tying in things that aren't even the case (like thinking I didn't finish my Bachelors because of abuse),

Oh that wasn't why? I'm sorry. I thought it was because of the incident. I even thought you told me that before but I may have misremembered.

it makes me think you aren't really trying to pay attention or look into things too deeply, and that you are not at all discerning with your sources (as is apparent by your political leanings), alongside a ton of projection.

 I'm sorry, turncoat.

hahaha, tc is such a victim. He literally grills, prods and over analyzes every little thing people do here trying to shame them and freaks out when asked a simple question. You’re not that sick if you can sit here for  all these years responding daily.
so what do you do to help yourself? Medication, therapy etc? do you even try?

even Med works and she’s been hospitalized a few times
