Okay but seriously, as a continued example, if people on here started going on about what Tryp's apparently done on Discord in the past, and he doesn't address it at all or simply says "You don't know the story" while otherwise just being a normal user on the site, you would ban Tryp over mob accusation? 

How far would you enforce banning him, would you sniff out him making alts? Would it become this whole dramatic thing where people who we think are Tryp or type in a similar style are banned on sight?

Who even talks that much positively about pedophilia? I see a lot of people throwing accusations around. Turquie was tweeking momentarily (I vote for putting her in check as a rule), Jim is pro pedophilia, cawk etc, Turquie has schizophrenia and does not know what she is doing or saying and the others are gone. There are some people like Xadem trolling with it but I never took it srsly and imo it is easy to see they are trolling. 

I am with TC on this. I do think most of the pedo talk comes from people stirring and trying to assassinate character. It is hard to prove for sure unless someone like Jim comes out and just acts it out openly on the forum. In this case I could be on board with bans etc. However if there were pedos here but they would not talk about it why would we care? 

I get PR reasons but saying it is the reason why there are no new members sound like a hypothesis to me. It could be true but there is no evidence for it. 

I suggest an ex juvantibus approach. We take different actions and see if it works to deduct the points we cannot know. 

In regard to rules I think any new rules should come with a pre agreed on period of activity. After that time the rules are taken away and there should be a discussion on them and a vote about keeping them.

If it becomes dramatic we can talk about it. I do bot believe it will. It might with specific members in specific contexts.

There is evidence, this reddit user is talking about our site, he thinks we are all pedophiles because of the stuff that turq, sugar and delora have been spamming. Then there is the Xena and sugar, the Chapo and sugar, the CS and sugar.

Idk about your rules idea, seems weird to me, why cant we have them forever and discuss when its an issue?

I also attempted to advertise SC on Facebook and Google Adsense, but I could only afford to spend a couple hundred so it didn't go far 

The biggest thing I ever did for Sc was to Email ME Thomas and ask her if I can take over her forum from nabble. 

Actually now that I think of it, the biggest thing I did for this place was set the initial rules and cullture. I put a lot of effort to keeping this place mod free. I encouraged users to label mods as janitors. I tried to appoint as few janitors as possible. 

It's sad TC turned corrupt and power hungry. I made a mistake making him mod because he's used it to elevate his own status on the forum and he puts all his effort to ensuring he keeps his elevated status. Making TC mod was my biggest mistake because when he accepted modship on KiwiFarms just to spite me it really felt like someone I trusted had betrayed me for his own gain. After that, running SC was not nearly as fun because my favorite supporter had betrayed me and I was just alone against everyone in my battle against Jim and all his puppet accounts that posted child porn. Even Xadem supported Jim. I really felt like it was me against the entire forum. Was a bit of a relief when SC was deleted.

If Turncoat wasn't mod, I genuinely think he wouldn't have stuck around for as long as he has.

The invisibility feature he had on your SC made him intriguing to new flesh. Him not posting much back then helped. Other members acting like he was some kind of ghost who never slept and just moderated the site did as well.

All these factors helped. His status had little to do with his actual personality.

Turncoat tries to be a courtier; the go-to person for the troubled -- but fails at it similar to Tony. He can't appeal to any side.

What keeps him relevant is his time investment in this place.
