i think just like anyone else, he has stupid thoughts and opinions. andrew tate isn't really who you go to for nuanced takes on politics, etc. he's a person who is particularly driven by the idea of masculinity and living the good life. tate says dumb shit sometimes, but when it comes to the sphere he cares about, which is making money and being attractive to females, the guy is on point. women hate him now because he seems like an enemy to feminism, but he wouldn't be pimping like they cry he is if he had zero game or knowledge. watch his shit that got pirated online

i think a lot of the worship comes from the lack of traditional masculine role models around. there's been jordan peterson, but he's more of an intellectual. men want to see a guy driving fast cars and being a chad, that's why they watch james bond. the value jumps up when we're in a society where people want us apologizing for toxic masculinity, being white, etc

This is the most accurate explanation for the popularity of Andrew Tate ive seen in a while. We dont have stoic depictions of men in movies anymore either.  Many kids learned what it was to be a man from old westerns and spaghetti westerns, among other characters in media. With fathers spending excessive amounts of time at work and not being available to teach their sons how to act as a man, unfortunately we need that hole to be filled and Hollywood was doing a decent job at it in the past.  You can blame the feminist movement and Critical Race Theory for the collapse of that prevalence.  I would agree that there is a serious problem with people like Andrew Tate trying to fill that void. It's a shame and a failure of our culture that so many young men find him to be the main role model they look to for their guidance.

How far back are you basing this on? 🤨

I will give you that the archetypes Sean Connery and Clint Eastwood play out's become that much more passé, but we could say the same over those who came before them from the black and white era of media.

There are still stoics around, but they aren't slapping women around as how they display strength, nor stalking women as their idea of courting anymore. You can see plenty of films that fit the bill post-2000's, but from there being more male archetypes to play with it has become less common.

Look into non-Hollywood stuff if you want to find it more easily, but even with Hollywood it's not exactly gone so much as treated as less normalized.

Look into what or who?

Thats what I was referring to so I can only imagine TC was as well.  I just find the portrayal of what it means to be a man is more powerful in older movies. Clint Eastwood and James Bond would definitely be top of the list.  I mostly see father figures that dont speak. specifically in Disney movies. Nothing close to their older depictions of men like in Up.

Where are the characters depicting stoicism and proper compassion (Up) and dignity and respect.

I can't deny that his approach won't get you laid or an instagram gym sponsorship, and I agree with you about his appeal in a climate that demonizes traditional ideas about masculinity. But I see it more as an escape fantasy machismo that reduces human relationships to some kinda primal serengeti Thunderdome where men are lone predators whose entire prerogative is to fuck women and fight each other.

I'd reckon his suggestions will get a guy laid, while women are usually hypergamous in nature.

It really doesn't hurt for a guy to focus on his health, wealth appearance and principals, which also happen to increase his value to what women want from men.

yeah but aint it kinda contrived and manipulative to curate this rich, hot gangster persona purely to attract superficial women? Its kinda what he accuses women of doing.. being fake and vapid to serve an ulterior motive?

One doesn't simply fake being like the Tates. They are both kickboxing champions, womanizing high value alphas, and self made.

Tate did what huge corporations spending billions on advertising couldn't do. They are literally hot shit, though a lot of what they say and do on camera is for show and a part of their scheme.

Idk whats wrong with just being yourself and finding compatible people. I've never had any issues doin that, and I look like an unshaven basoon and have the self-discipline of a 5 year old lol

Some guys want to date beautiful women and get laid.

It's better to train the self and prosper than to settle for being a loser, and let's be honest, most guys are loosers who are invisible to most women.

Transformation doesn't entail being someone we're not, it entails improvement of the self and the environment we build for ourselves.

I’d rather my son had the ability to self-define, rather than feeling constrained by social pressure. But I also wouldn’t mind him inheriting the idea that the best part of being a man is to be a protector, which requires male qualities like aggression, forcefulness, courage and so on. I don't think they're inherently toxic traits, as long as they exist in balance. This doesn't feel balanced though, and that's without even getting into the attitudes towards women.

For some of us, we recognize herd mentality and it's been created for Andrew Tate. People see clips of Andrew talking about choking out a woman and spanking her with a machete, but they don't know, the context was what would he do if he caught a sex partner trying to shove a knife in his back. The reply is actually more comedic.

The agenda is to make men more queer, and snuff us out. Make men into some working class, though we are, and we 99% built everything you see outside for several miles. So when we see men of influence actually inspiring men, and they don't fit the modern perversions from kindergarten, they'll get the media to stick labels on who they want destroyed.

Inspiring men to what though? I think if it was just hitting the gym and making money, no one would really care. That's the MO of lots of podcast dudes. People take issue with the comments about women being inferior, and why is that necessary to inspire men?

I don't recall Tate calling women inferior, that's something you've picked up elsewhere. His message would entail how men and women have different roles, and that upsets feminist.

Tate teaches men to be respectful of women, despite how they've become in this day and age. His message is for younger men cause most older guys wouldn't go through the effort to score, while it was much easier when we were young.

Guys aren't going to be inspired by woke people pushing woke narritives. They want to be inspired by men who live the male dream. That is health and wealth and women.

how about blaming the absent fathers lmao? isn't it their job? their kid? them who are supposed to teach their sons about being a man?

Right, i gotta say i don't feel that strongly about it overall, and I don't like the idea of banning ideas coz I think it feeds into the narrative that the truth gets persecuted. Challenging ideas is a better approach, or you end up with martyrs

But as for the women are inferior thing, those are pretty much his own words. He self-describes as a mysoginist, says women are property and need to be trained like dogs, and by his own admission he targets mainly teenagers coz older women are too "cynical". Also, his technique is cult psychology. Lovebomb, isolate, increase dependence by being hot/cold. It's basically the D.E.N.N.I.S system lol

So yeah, it might superficially and temporarily 'increase value' to a very small subset of vulnerable young women, but it;s a pretty hollow end result. And I'm missing the respect for women embedded in it

Yes it is 100% their fault. They are the root cause. I just neglected to mention that for the sake of brevity.  The number 1 problem in our country with young men is fatherlessness. This is especially true for black communities, where it is a major factor in holding them back from escaping poverty and gang culture
