When I refused to be your friend while willing to be BR's, you immediately took that as a threat and have been aiming to sabotage it and control all that goes on the entire time, telling him that if I become your friend that his suffering can stop. 

The real BR already came to terms with how I don't want to be your friend, and this talk was IRL. Unlike you he understands why I would not have the patience for your behavior.

She has rationalized as much in relation to the two of them separating. 

but she does have some toxic personality traits that she should be getting therapy for to recover from

I don't know what therapists could even hope to do with someone like her beyond pacifying her for the moment, rather than for good.

I tried it the nice way in my earlier years, being who people wanted rather than being myself from figuring that's how to get people to listen. Believe it or not, that was worse for a long, long list of reasons, and at the end of both paths people tend to not really be listening unless challenged to. 

Someone can be nice for the wrong reasons just how another can be mean for the right ones, what matters at the end of the day is one's intent, what they hoped to achieve and why. Personally, I've seen the plot be easier to push when playing a more antagonistic role, and whoever is capable of seeing through that supposed harshness ends up taking it more genuinely in the long term. 

The life of a liar is far lonelier, their peers stop feeling like real people. instead as contingent elements to get to the next goalpost. Being a pretender is the same as being a liar as far as I'm concerned, even when pretending to be a good person, and I'd rather be disliked for portraying my truths than loved for a silver tongue.

One hypothesis is that since this is TCs whole life br became irrelevant to him when he credibly disconnected from this community. He can no longer serve TCs power agendas etc. For TC there is no friendship here, there is only power dynamics and transactional allies to serve his short- and midterm agendas while they are getting backstabbed in the longterm.

Other ideas?

When she first mentioned the strangling they hadn't split up yet, so hearing they split seemed like closure. 

The current details: They are back together, she is referring to the strangling in present tense while referencing the rape as past tense to suggest the former is current. She has also since signed onto his Discord, again, to try to make things worse and frame confessions from him in a way that doesn't even sound like his typing style. When all she does is lie constantly from multiple angles, it makes me a lot less inclined to care about her end of it, at this point even when she may be receiving real harm. 

Also my habit is to explore what the one who isn't talking in public has to say, which in this case happened to be the male. I like getting both sides to a story rather than just taking one and running with it like you're doing with Delora, and with how often you make it about gender I don't think you'd recognize when a male is the victim, or even a victim. 

Either way, what kind of person would I be, would any of us be, to not get the authorities involved with rape and strangulation, regardless of how long it's been? What, do rapists just become entitled to it after so much time passes without it being called in?
