I put in another thread that I think Christianity as a top-down moral system is probably better than materialism. This involves making concessions to work, whether it be abortion laws or keeping God on money. Abortion being a particularly divisive topic makes it good as a litmus test for where Americans are ethically.
too much focus on any religion is for nonces and madmen to pretend they have any morality with the false pretense of a god that will punish them if they are bad, so surely they won't be bad right?
Most Anglos are Christian and our systems of law are heavily based on Judeo-Christianity.
