Another thing, it really doesn't cost $600 a month to raise a kid.
Lol it cost ~$320K to put my son through college..
Most people don't go to the most expensive college in the world. They settle for other places they can get into and fall into debt.
I dont actually think its drastically above the national average, and those averages dont factor in daily living expenses, transport, health insurance etc. Raising a kid is expensive.
80 grand per semester ? That nearly 4x more than the average cost. The world famous Harvard University is far cheaper.
The average person can put some money aside for children over time. Daily living expenses means we buy food and supplies in bulk and share it.
In my friend's case he paid $600 a month in child support. Say what ? I don't know anybody who grew up having that much spent on them every single month.
My nieces and nephew and God child all have their devices and everything they need, none of them are living off $600 a month.
I personally wouldn't move to the US, Canada is a much better deal. Health Insurance sounds shitty, while here we don't fear getting ill and falling into debt and losing our nests.
Abortion has always been a class issue. Young people are already entering a repackaged form of serfdom.. how tf they gonna pay back their student loans if they;ve gotta drop out to raise a kid? And they didn't even elect these SCOTUS cretins.
Abortion has been an option the whole time, though there are much better options before such a drastic measure becomes a plan.
Most students by a landslide don't become pregnant.
I imagine the promiscuous get the most abortions, I don't think their medical wishes should fall under a socialized healthcare system paid by, your money, while there are actual illnesses that aren't covered by tax money.
The system is rigged dude, I don't blame millenials for wanting to flip cop cars. Theyre pretty much getting told to sink below the poverty line and eat microplastics so that our government can afford enough minuteman ICBM's to peel the whole fuckin planet out of orbit when Biden eventually mistakes the nuclear football for his Life Alert button.
I find the millenials ( the loud ones anyway ) have their head in the clouds and don't know good policy, or anything about policy at all.
I'm watching Hillary doing her college rally and she's like "raise taxes on the middle class" and the kids applauded in an uproar.
But damn. These kids are either the middle class, or they'll be in debt when they graduate and when they climb out of the gutter, they'll enjoy a tax increase they vouched for.
Now as we speak team DNC is preparing 62% tax hikes on the rich starting if you made 400k a year, which isn't really that rich.
What President Regan said. "Those who have the most to lose, will do the least to prevent it happening"
So when I see them burning up the place and looting and rioting, they just come accross even dumber.
