I don't really believe in the DSM-IV thing. It mostly seems like make-believe with no basis in facts; picking up diagnoses is like shopping for excuses these days.

What would constitute Psychology being 'based in fact'?

I wouldn't presume to know most of the people on sc well enough to say but I'll throw my two cents in

Xadem - used to be alcohol addiction diagnosis for sure, probably not anymore, agree with some avoidant type stuff

TC - provisional ocd, depression and or gender dysphoria, schizoaffective (idk but tc said so)

Lenalee - seems pretty sane and normal

blanc - yeah probably histrionic/narc

CS - agreed narcissistic personality disorder, I think a lot of the stuff she says about voices and stuff tho is made up for attention

Chapo - idk man something is wrong there tho

delorah - autism, histrionic, schizophrenia, maybe bpd

br - autism and npd

BT - pretty sane and normal I think, maybe prone to bouts of like low self esteem

Spatial - he has associative thinking patterns that sometimes strike me as on the spectrum

Jim - BPD/ASPD, depression, npd... idk man a lot of stuff

turq - schizophrenia, histrionic

tryp - used to be alcohol addiction and depression, now idk if anything

Xena - nice ole kook who I like syndrome

 I don’t lie for attention. I’m honest. I used to hear voices like of my parents when they weren’t there and when I went through alcohol withdraw I saw things and heard things. I don’t hear voices anymore though. I think my anxiety went down after ditching my parents.
