There's nothing wrong with me because I'm perfect.

Xad- agree

Crave- not sure if there's a disorder there, but her social learning was horribly influenced by Nazis  :P

Reaper- schizoid with bouts of OCDish fixation on rape and blood. Fortunately for all of us, she's a tiny woman with extreme limitations in terms of physical strength and attention span.

TC - Definitely OCD, driven by autogynephelia. He's also a pain slut. I don't see the schizophrenia, either.

Cav - agree

Lenalee - spent some time working through some childhood trauma. She does get a bit obsessive, and she's easily led. But I'd say that's cultural/ learned, and not a symptom of a disorder.

Sug - BPD yes she said so recently

blanc - aspie with head trauma and PTSD

CS - agree

Chapo - I've seen him on video and didn't notice anything schizophrenic. He did seem a bit aspie-ish, but that may have been the dope. He smokes copious amounts of weed.

delorah - autism and OCD (magical thinking) possible schizophrenia

br - classic NPD, thankfully not the malignant type

BT - seems pretty normal to me. Very imaginative and gifted with turning a phrase. Possibly ADHD, but nothing more severe than that

scarlett - entitlement what? lol no she's just suffering from hopelessly pretty young girl syndrome  :D

Spatial - I heard he had NPD, but he doesn't seem that awful. His weird religious beliefs are learned and his annoying Patriarchy worship/mgtow identification are learned.

Jim - Broken on many levels due to childhood abuse. BPD with sociopathic and NPD traits

user - not sure

turq - I thought turq and delora were the same person?

tryp - not sure. Symptoms from his addictions are such a large part of his functioning that it's difficult to tell if there are any other disorders there

LiYang - not sure about him, either. I sometimes suspect he's an election bot programmed by Russians lol

med - could be bipolar, I'm not sure. She's definitely obsessive.

Xena - mild case of ADD

My OCD has mostly been in remission (thank satan holy shit that's hell that's fucking horrible), and my trans thoughts don't turn me on they moreso validate.

It's this idea that others will 'See me like this' as a reflection of how I don't want to see myself like this, and that anything that I do wrong that doesn't have me passing will have them and myself disturbed by it's uncanny valley. Rather than using it to be some proud drag queen who can then touch myself to reach climax like something out of Ed Wood it's more about wanting to 'Fit In' to some degree as 'the body I was meant to have'.

He's also a pain slut.

Algolagnia.

I don't see the schizophrenia, either.

It's Schizoaffective (unipolar paranoia), and apparently people in the field give me a 'well duh' look about it after enough case study time. The thinking's still a little wiggy when in a down phase but when up that shit's fucking crazier than psychedelic drugs. It can take some debriefing to try to remain more grounded, which is why I have to go hard about things such as 'The Collective Reality' as a sort of Litmus Test with people I'm friendly with sort of being like my Seeing Eye Dogs. Why else do you think I go so hard on questioning other people, that's how I talk to myself.

As many an interviewed Schizoaffective has said online (apparently, from a deep dive into their videos inspired by BT linking me this guy), 'Schizos are the best actors when it comes to telling people that everything's fine', to paraphrase the general message. I'd gone with the idea moreso that people don't really know what symptoms and patterns to look for, rather than patting myself on the back over a sense of 'They shouldn't have to worry about these things' or whatever, since I tend to have an easier time seeing in myself and others when something's wrong.

The only one here who could likely accurately report my displays is Crow, considering I don't really try to hide it from her nearly as much from having spent so much time in the same room together, but I'm surprised how much goes by unnoticed when I swear I'm telegraphing some nutty shit on bad days.

I don’t hear voices often. I definitely had a massive spout of it in jail when I was completely sober. I can pay attention to things that interest me for absolutely any amount of time.

Yeah your patience is weirdly unnatural, you're like impatient with a lack of efficiency in it's cycles rather than over the larger timeline.

There's clearly something 'dopamine' themed going on for what gets you hooked though, you have a stronger response to the ideas of achievement and awards than the usual too.

I’ve always had a low opinion of people with schizophrenia tbh. They’re usually not very beneficial to society.

They tend to just contribute the notion towards others that everyone's perceptions are different, unless you're somewhere poorer that might mistake them for Shaman or something.

Usually with how much struggle they face either with or without medication it's hard for them to really contribute much else, I'd agree that to the larger whole they don't really 'Benefit Society', but their population count's low enough that it's not really dragging anything down.

It has made for some amazing artists and authors though, they're great for the arts, and they've also been a good jumping point for many philosophical and psychological questions.

Im interested in this. Could you give concrete examples?

scarlett - chronic feeling of entitlement

I'd be interested to see how you came to this conclusion, I don't think I'm owed anything and I would be mortified to suggest that I was

 lol

I wouldn't presume to know most of the people on sc well enough to say but I'll throw my two cents in

Xadem - used to be alcohol addiction diagnosis for sure, probably not anymore, agree with some avoidant type stuff

TC - provisional ocd, depression and or gender dysphoria, schizoaffective (idk but tc said so)

Lenalee - seems pretty sane and normal

blanc - yeah probably histrionic/narc

CS - agreed narcissistic personality disorder, I think a lot of the stuff she says about voices and stuff tho is made up for attention

Chapo - idk man something is wrong there tho

delorah - autism, histrionic, schizophrenia, maybe bpd

br - autism and npd

BT - pretty sane and normal I think, maybe prone to bouts of like low self esteem

Spatial - he has associative thinking patterns that sometimes strike me as on the spectrum

Jim - BPD/ASPD, depression, npd... idk man a lot of stuff

turq - schizophrenia, histrionic

tryp - used to be alcohol addiction and depression, now idk if anything

Xena - nice ole kook who I like syndrome

Friedrich - superiority complex

I'm not autistic. I have no diagnosis.

I was once diagnosed with MDD around the time I came here, but it's curable and I overcame it without any drugs.

I've been depressed beyond description. My vision would be dim and gravity seemed extra heavy. It's possible I could experience such sadness again, but it's unlikely to last since I had to get real good at letting people I love go.

Having no diagnosis doesn't mean you don't have a disorder, simply that it hasn't been classified yet.

A lot of people would have 'nothing wrong with them' if this was passable criteria, and Asperger's at least from within the same spectrum is still relatively functional in the working world.

I was once diagnosed with MDD around the time I came here, but it's curable and I overcame it without any drugs.

Wait really? Then you have been diagnosed with something before.

Did you actually seek help during that time or something in order to receive that diagnosis? I didn't really see you as the 'seeking help' type.

Also MDD Is a temporary diagnosis. Not a permanent condition.
