being too repulsive to get sex is too rare given how this is a society of desperate "simps"

there are extremely beautiful women who turn to asexuality to increase their self esteem by convincing themselves they are "unattainable" or "different from the rest of the hoes"

They aren’t asexual though. They’re all sluts.

They're all sluts?

Elaborate?

If they put in the effort to be attractive they’re sluts.

You don't see them having any reason to doll themselves up other than to look for sex?

Nah

Weird, I tend to see their need to do that as a way to not feel ugly as a matter of believed status quo shaming, equating appearance enhancing with potential success.

Peer modeling also pushes it further, a lot of women end up wearing makeup mostly over how 'everyone else is'. To do otherwise many believe risks standing out and being treated as 'less' by your peers. Effectively for many, makeup is simply a way to feel like they belong.

I've seen more women show more concern over dressing up for other women than dressing up for men from figuring that women are the harder audience to please from actually understanding the medium.

“or actual nihilists who connect sex to a higher meaning”

so are they asexual cause sex having a higher meaning turns them off, as they find everything meaningless?

if you think reality is "perception" is because you're coping too much to accept reality

...So where do you stand with Hume's "Problem of Induction"?  Or Kant?

How can you trust that what you're seeing is the true, Objective reality, rather than a Subjective reflection based on your own perceptions?

It's also a challenge to a belief in the regularity in reality.  An assumption, also somewhat parallel to the anthropic principle.  But there are avenues of truth through tautology.  Or at least "true enough".

you can't trust what you see to be true (as you should) cause deep inside you're aware your perception shouldn't be trusted

people used to be able to tell when it will rain, when it will be proper to grow food, hunt, or even when war was coming or when someone was dying by sheer experience, there were even intuitive people in various religions who could tell you your problem the moment you walked in their room it has happened many many times, some of them were worshipped / adored as saints/ shamans

but all that was just what i described, not spirits/demons/aliens, just another high level human ability

i understand it's rare for normal people to even experience it on someone else, so you got to depend on what others say

all these terms and definitions you guys keep using, do they make you feel smarter and more sophisticated?

i am not convinced

No; it recognizes these thoughts have been out there already and examined for a long time.  It’s data compression for better discussion, not an ego trip.
