The simple fact of the matter is that Spats is picky. His women are prolly smokin hot. My guess would be that he also has some kind of fetish that he doesn't discuss. Hence the misfortune of always ending up with BPD chicks. Or maybe he just likes drama, and didn't always have the experience to get off the crazy train before it crashed.

But the fact of the matter is that he's over 40 and only average looking (no that's not an insult--- even ppl who were hot in their 20s lose enough of their looks by their 40s to become "average" or below average.) He has an unusual charm and a distinctly Torontonian style, which does draw some women to him.

And yes. The money does attract gold diggers.

I loved it when I lived down around Queen & Jameson. Sometimes when the wind was right, I could hear the concerts at the Exhibition grounds. I got to listen to U2 and Elton John from my window for free one year  :) Then there was Mervishland a short streetcar ride away, the Benson & Hedges Symphony of Fire, which I was also able to watch from just a few blocks from my apartment.

There were always great bar bands playing.

Ofc most of the places I knew are prolly closed after all these years, plus COVID.

You would have to choose.

It just reads to me like many a compensator I've seen before him.

He strikes me as a plain vanilla kind of dude, as he's otherwise not slipped up there even once. 

What kinks would you figure from how he's shown himself?

Or his perception of people needs a checkup, as he sounds like he's seeing this waaay more often than normal. There's a few possibilities here: 

a) He sees this in more people than is warranted, denoting a sensitivity or a prescripted excuse for failure. 
b) He's acting in such a way as to have that type gravitate towards him more, or those are the only sorts of people he's unintentionally seeking out. 
c) He's making this up, if not overly embellishing smaller events, to defend himself from shame, backing his stories up with weird ideas he has in his head about how 'people are' with the stories mostly aiming to illustrate a point rather than demonstrate a truth. 

In any of the three cases, he's very prone to embellishing and redefining how a situation went while missing a lot of clues, but I'm currently leaning towards option C over his history of overcompensatory behavior. I can't help but feel the guy's single not out of choice based on the displays he's otherwise shown on this website in the past, and he's otherwise made up stories in the past in ways that have been proven against him and I'd argue there's nothing to stop him from continuing to behave that way. He may not be completely fabricating the stories, but there's almost always missing details from his version that serve to weirdly inflate his position within the story if not assure us he had no feelings on the matter. 

Regardless of which of those three it is the guy's being paranoid over nothing. Further googling shows that it's not even deemed common law marriage until one to three years into it for Canada, and as already posted over they can't force a split of property. He didn't even think to look up the laws himself, who knows what led to him believing this.
