i am more of a fatalist in such things like life, events, so if anything solipsism is the exact opposite (i find it delusional and compensatory)

you don't get what i mean, i mean that

you don't have to hold it as TRUE but you have to say IT

cause it's bad ass, and even if you don't believe it, it makes you a warrior

It sounds more like the way of a berserker (or an e-witch/shaman) than a warrior, and I don't see how someone can have faith in something they logically don't believe in long term.

I get having determination, but saying that I failed because I didn't will myself to win fails to grant the room to study the failure. I see failure as something people face repeatedly on their way to success, refining themselves with every mistake until they don't happen anymore.

what makes you think that i'm not trying to master berserker mode, that's the point

refining yourself isn't about self reflecting on mistakes, is about understanding what caused them, and make sure the root doesn't happen again

I don't see value in screaming past one's problems.

refining yourself isn't about self reflecting on mistakes, is about understanding what caused them, and make sure the root doesn't happen again

That assumes you can fix the mistake in one fell swoop. More often it takes multiple trials where things went wrong to learn the ways something could go wrong, leading to the values one'd expect from a seasoned professional rather than a fresh college grad.

That's pretty much the berserker/blood knight model, charging head first at it rather than assessing.

I dunno, there's something satisfying about having a gimped moveset that only works as well as your opponent's predictability, and sapping your foes' energy and patience is a useful strategy.

His pompous laugh while summoning death meteors is pure bait too. Why charge to them when you can make them charge to you?

i like that elegant/ composed calculated approach when i go against machiavellians that have some sort of superiority complex, or even god complexes/ stoics

it works wonders with malignant narcs and cynics too

the more neutral and graceful you sound, the more you avoid personal insults and stick to an indirectly - stated point (usually operating on implications and cryptic metaphors) the more effective it is but...

but using it on everyone? bleh

you don't fight goblins with meteorites, you fight titans and gods with them

it's all about being able to switch on and off on the spot, being erratic, unpredictable, and chaotic

although i get using that against me kek

in the end why not both?
